Well it is summer and I am utilizing every moment of free time that I have to make it an awesome one. Starting summer school next week and enjoying my seconds, minutes, and blessed hours until then.

I have aspirations to be awesome. Not that I am not as it is, but I think I would be totally awesome to run my own house, drive a car (yet to get my lisence, and pass my undergrad in Psychology. But first, I have to get through this summer. The summer when I turn 20. Gah.

However, I do have aspirations to sit behind a desk, and help people while being a therapist. That has been the dream in the back of my mind since I was 9 years old and worked in a mission with my grandparents.

Oh, and I'm in love! With a lot of things: with life, with discovery, with stories and writing, with adventure, with music, being random, and a man. This man has been my love and friend for a long time. Someone who's hand i love to hold, and mind I love to learn.

So I dedicate this summer to discovery. Of who I am, what I want to do, what I am capable of, what my limits are, how strong I can be, and what I really want to spend my life fighting for.

What am I doing to discover this, you may ask? Learning to drive. Reading CNN to try to learn what's going on in the world. Riding my bike. Meeting new people. Just trying to catch up with the rest of the world. I'm learning how to play board games and reading new stories. Trying to get in my fantasy fix. I know that is applying fantasy to our own lives we can become much more free to think about what we never before imagined what life, love, and even mundane yet essential things such as politics can be. For better or for worse. Doctor Who makes me think of such things all the time. So does some graphic novels and manga. I believe in the idea of "if".

So I'm looking forward to my life, occaisionally looking back. here's to the summer!
